Dr. John Bianchi

Vice President of Product Development

Dr. Bianchi is Vice President of Product Development at Revivicor, Inc. He is primarily responsible for business development and regulatory affairs directed toward human use medical products derived from Revivicor’s unique lines of genetically engineered animals. Dr. Bianchi has been involved in the Biotechnology field for over 15 years and held a variety of leadership positions at Regeneration Technologies, Inc (RTI). His professional responsibilities have included establishing a biomechanical testing lab, leading product and process development activities, as well as organizational leadership. He has introduced over 20 medical products or technologies to patients in need, is an inventor on 27 granted patents or patent applications, and co-author on 12 scientific publications and 40 conference proceedings. His educational background consists of duel undergraduate degrees in Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology (1988) and Bachelor of Arts from Jacksonville University (1988). Masters and Doctoral degrees were received in Materials Science and Engineering from Auburn University (1993) and University of Florida (1999) respectively.
